Suzianne asked: Does anyone know of a book or classes that teach milliners how to make beautiful flowers to trim hats?
I searched the web and found one class in London. Are there resources in the United States? Chicago would be the best location for me, or a good book on the subject would help.

Isawien asked: Does anyone know how to preserve flowers with acrylic? I’ve seen online that some companies make them where the fresh flowers are dipped in an acrylic glaze and then accented in gold, is there a way I can preserve them at home using the acrylic method (obviously without the gold accents of course) ?
Thanks for any help you can give.

V asked: I received a dozen of roses from my new man and I want to save them in a special way. I thought about taking the petals and arranging them somehow in a shadow box type picture frame and then placing our picture in it. Does anyone else have a good idea?

jigs asked: I am decorating a wedding cake. The only decor would be three styrofoam balls filled with gum paste roses suspended from the base of the top cake in a sculptured base. I do not want the flowers from the bottom of the balls to be falling off.

usmarinemomma asked: I purchased some silk flowers that had fake “water droplets” on them. They were beautiful! Store personnel were unable to tell me how it was done.
Hot glue gun sounds like it would work…however, how do you form the “water drops” without a “peak” forming?
By the way, you folks are great!!! Thanks for the answers!!!!
