jaye asked: I am looking for a florist to do my Bridal bouquet, Bridesmaid bouquets, and a the Groom and Groomsman boutteniers. I am on a tight budget, and most florists seem to be really outrageous. Several of them have tried to charge me $35 just for a consultation. If anyone has any suggestions, I would appreciate it.

IM12BNVED asked: I would like to know where I can buy those little plant food packets (kind of like sugar - its white powder) that you mix into the water of a vase when you buy your wife roses, or fresh flowers, etc. I checked lowes and home depot, and nope. i want like 25 or 50 of those little packets.

dbrcymry asked: I am putting in a new border garden in my yard this weekend. I have 4 double knock out roses bushes that I am putting in there–but I have allowed lots of space for the bushes to spread. I would like to add some other perennials that would complement the roses. What can you suggest? I am in Zone 5 and the location is in full sun. I would like something that does not require a lot of care–

Xanadu asked: I don’t want to use a weed mat becuase then I would have to dig up all of my already planted flowers to get the mat under them. I want somthing to keep out weeds and make my garden look more tidy. Prefferably somthing that will stop the weeds from growing thier deep roots like they do in my area.

Sela asked: I planted flowers last year and they bloomed early in Feb. It was unseasonably warm here. Then a late frost came and they died. They never came back. They are supposed to be annual flowers, but I am afraid I will not have flowers again next summer. Can I plant more/different flowers in the same place?

Dan the man asked: I am planning on having a really big flower garden next year. I would like to plant some perennials, but I would want them to last for about a month, more would be better. I have already bought some gladiolis and some other different kinds of mixed bulbs, and these will bloom for about 1-3 monthes. What are some more? Any lillies or anything like that? I don’t care which type of perennial, but as long as it is nice.
Ps. I have a packet of snapdragon seeds and a packet of larkspur seeds that i didn’t get to plant this year, will they still be good for next year, so i can plant them then? Thanks in advance.
I didn’t know that roses bloom that long. I have about 4 roses. What kind would you suggest is the best?
