beebee32002 asked: I’d like to buy bulk flowers and make arrangements myself. I’ve never visited a wholesale floral place before, but when I went to Trader Joe’s (or some other supermarkets), they have cheap flowers as well ($10 for a dozen small roses). I was wondering, do they have similar prices at wholesale florals or are the prices similar? Thanks.

Rambo asked: I have lawn that receives 8 hours of sun light in summer and only 4 hours in winter. SO name few perennials that can flower well under such conditions. DOn,t tell me about impatiens and geraniums. I already have them.
I live in Islamabad, pakistan. The 8 hour sun that lawn receives is mostly filtered one.

lindsaybgood asked: I purchased 4 rose bushes from Walmart. I planted them this weekend but no where does it tell me how long it will take before I start seeing the roses. I am sort of impatient when it comes to these things

FAITH K asked: I live in the south in zone 8 and want to add some color to my front yard. What type of flowering perennials would be best? I want something that isn’t too tall since I will be planting as a border around my sidewalk. Thanks for any suggestions!

I want something that isn’t too tall (no more than 12 inches)since I will be planting as a border around my sidewalk. The area has lots of sunlight. Thanks for any suggestions!

Pamela W asked: I cut a flower, smashed the stem because it was woody, put it in water immediately, but within a few hours it was turning brown. I have seen florists use them in arrangements. What am I doing wrong?

dixiegrl787 asked: My wedding is a little less than 10 months away. I’m not sure when to try to look for florist. My wedding is in June of 2009, I know that this is a popular month so I’m not sure if I should hire one now or wait.
