tanlines0 asked: When I bought them (I have 2) originally the flowers were white then in no time (maybe a few days) turned green and now they are always green. The are about 10 feet from the window and I have re potted them in bigger (not too big) of a pot. I water them only once a week and I have even dusted them leaf by leaf. The leaves are beautiful and very healthy. I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong and any info would be appreciated.

Chuck C asked: The daisies were beautiful in spring but are no longer blooming. Do they need to be pruned, dead headed or what. They were so beautiful but look very old now. They are on the north side of our home and get a lot of sun.

Rosebee asked: There are 18 roses all together, 9 pink and 9 red. They have been in the ground since March 1st. I noticed a few whiteflies and aphids 2 weeks ago. Since they were do for their first fertilizer, I gave them all a half of treatment of Bayer 2 in one systemic feed and protect for roses. They are all blooming and have doubled in growth since planting, and generally look beautiful, but today I still see a few whiteflies and even more aphids.
Is it safe to spray them with like diazon already? I don’t want to harm the plants but at the same time, I don’t want those little green boogers (aphids) on my plants either. I appreciate your suggestions. Thanks!

nc_hpoa asked: I have some tall perennials that my friend gave me (not sure what they are). They were beautiful in the summer then they died when winter came. They are now sitting on my porch. My question is should I cut them down for them to come back up this summer or just leave them as they are, standing there brown and dead?

Skylark asked: I took some pictures of them for my photography class, and I don’t know what they are called. I’d like to find out so I can label the pics.
They are really beautiful and have thick trunks and kind of perriwinkle colored flowers. You can see them everywhere on the Westside of LA right now……
If you know the name, please let me know. Thx!

pat00502003 asked: The knockout roses have been beautiful but they are tall and the bottom of them are looking slim. I was wondering how to prune them or cut them back to promote growing but not kill them where they don’t bloom again. Any suggestions, websites with instructions? Thanks

lady_lilacs asked: I never really understand why when you get a beautiful arrangement of long stem roses, after about a day in a vase with water they start to bend at the neck or seem like they are about to die. It totally *****!(urgh) Does it mean they were at their end when they were purchased, they were a bad batch to begin with or some other reason? I would really like to know in order to avoid this from happening in the future. Anyone who knows about roses?
