Sugar Magnolia Says GO CHIEFS! asked: It gets sunlight in the late afternoon, like 4 or 5. I don’t care if its annual or perennials, but I would prefer something easy! I live in IL. I was thinking about just putting a bunch of wild flowers seeds down but I didn’t know if they would grow there. Any suggestions?

maycuplover asked: I live in an apartment and my balcony faces north and is surrounded by big trees. It does get some sunlight but not a lot. I don’t want fake plants. What’s my best bet for plants and flowers that will survive in this condition.

Waiting on Bennett Cole asked: I want to plant a flower garden in the front of my house. My problem is that the spot that I want to garden gets a lot of rain because of the run-off from the roof. This is the only spot that I can put a flower bed for the front of my house. Any ideas on some flowers that are easy to grow?

FAITH K asked: I live in the south in zone 8 and want to add some color to my front yard. What type of flowering perennials would be best? I want something that isn’t too tall since I will be planting as a border around my sidewalk. Thanks for any suggestions!

dr521 asked: I want to plant some flowers in my yard this week. Temperature regularly exceeds 90 F but humidity is low. The candidate planting area receives sunlight may be 3 hours a day. What would be a good choice? Planting advice (type of soil, fertilizer, etc.) would also be appreciated.
